Story is light, fluffy, funny and I enjoyed it immensely. I found picking a date from a row of coffins only seeing a picture of the guys an amazing idea. Didn't expect that one and it's refreshing. My only complaint is that I wanted more, wanted to see Veronica is trying to fight her insecurities as any other woman does and also trying to find a solution for her problems. My only complaint is that I wanted more, wanted to see Christopher's POV which is a compliment to writer.
I would like to see who the other guys are and how they meet their mates. Definitely worth more than 99c. View all 4 comments. The picture of the guy in coffin three gets her blood pumping and she can't help but be drawn to the guys and she reluctantly says yes to hire Christian dale as her escort for the wedding.
Next evening Christian arrives to take her to the evening wedding and the attraction is instant, undeniable and bloody hell, hot! Focusing on keeping her legs crossed the pair takes to the limo. Sure the guy insist being a vampire - though being very modest about it but not packing out of it - and Veronica tries to get him to take his fangs off, so they won't spoil the wedding. As it turns out, the fangs aren't fake, neither is Christian and most certainly neither is the lust boiling between them This book was an absolute joy to read! Veronica and the Vampire is fun, witty, sexy and sweet at the same time!
I loved how easy and fun this was to read, I loved Veronica's cheerfully quirky attitude and her downright freak-outs about the wedding. I loved how Christian didn't have to do much to be her rock and her hard place, ummm bun intended.
Her sister really was a bitch and the wedding horrifying to Veronica even though she had Christian by her side. This 90 page book didn't have a dull moment in it! The story was fast-pace, interesting, well put together and had plenty of action be it confrontation, sexual tension or a amusing meltdown. I would categorize this as a sweet romance as it didn't have sex in it - but it sure was a hot read with Veronica's urges to jump Christian's bones quite adamant.

My new novella "Veronica and the Vampire" is pure fluffy, "girly" fun.
I've dedicated this book to everyone who has ever "dated" and remembers this process fondly or otherwise. Maybe some of those dates seemed other-worldy, too? We just didn't know for sure who might show up? I've packed this book with tons of good Karma for those of us who do remember those times, all too well I hope this just makes you smile.

If you have ever had days when you're in need of a smile, for whatever reason, pick up one of Linda Thomas-Sundstrom's rarer lighthearted books. Thomas-Sundstrom says on various book sites that this story is pure fluff, and as light as cotton-candy. And because of those things, this book sucked me right in. Jan 21, Holly rated it really liked it. This was just the book I needed after a not to good weekend! It's a pick-me-up, put a smile on your face kind of book that has some fun loving characters and one evil incarnate one, but you'll have to read it yourself to find out about that one that draw you right in to their world.
Don't miss this one! Nov 09, Caity rated it liked it. It was a cute fluffy romance, nothing much more to say. I liked the scenes where she dealt with her family, I wish there had been more, or that they had been more in-depth since since they were quite funny.
I kind of wish that there had been more reason to the romance, but that's not what kind of book this was, but I enjoyed it none the less. Jun 17, sd rated it it was amazing. I really enjoyed reading about Veronica and her hunky vampire. This was a quick fun read with lots of laugh out loud worthy humor. It was really nice to read something fun and light without too much drama or without being overly erotic. I found myself smiling throughout most of the book and thinking about who I think the handsome Christopher may look like.
I think this was the perfect summer read for me and I am very happy to have read it.

It is pure, fluffy, girly fun when you like books where a woman completely looses her mind when she in a proximity of a hot guy. Well we do meet her family briefly, and I still don't get it why she is so insecure and afraid of them. So that was mighty annoying, because of the story we get constant whining But wait, I think I know why! She is so turned on that she can't think straight!
